Just an Insight or Thought for Consideration

Just an Insight or Thought for Consideration
It is harder that one would like to shut-off the musings of the brain and critical thought

Juneteenth today? Now, according to Wikipedia – “Juneteenth is a holiday celebrating the emancipation of those who had been enslaved in the United States. Originating in Texas, it is now celebrated annually on the 19th of June throughout the United States, with varying official recognition.” Wikipedia. Furthermore, the article adds, “Emancipation of the last remaining enslaved African Americans in the Confederacy.”

      Tell me please...what are people of color, African Americans, Blacks, celebrating;

From the brilliant, yet almost make-believe writing of Mr. Alstead W. Herndon he provides us with this... “In a city that has become known as a landmark to black pain, Friday was a day for black joy.
More than a thousand people gathered along Greenwood Avenue — the site of one of America’s worst racist attacks — to celebrate Juneteenth, the holiday that commemorates when enslaved black Americans in Texas formally learned of emancipation. The end of a centuries-long massacre (emphasis added by author.)
In any year, Juneteenth in Tulsa means something different than it does in other cities, according to black residents. The exuberance more palpable, the music more soulful, against the backdrop of the 1921 white riot that killed an estimated 300 black Tulsans and destroyed the area once known as “Black Wall Street.”
“We’re celebrating the emancipation of slaves, but we’re really celebrating the idea of being black,” said Jacquely Simmons, who has lived in Tulsa for 45 years. “We love it and we love us.”
So critically what is it? In an article that is supposed to be of a celebratory connotation, when one thinks about what is really being stated here has nothing whatsoever to do with slavery. From that prospective, one does not know whether to applaud or cry? It actually reads like a liberal’s tell all story about why he is really angry. Where else could a legitimate person come up with this...?
But this was not any year. Organizers planned to cancel their annual Juneteenth celebration amid the national coronavirus pandemic. Then President Trump announced a campaign rally in the city, originally slated to be held on the Friday holiday but later moved to Saturday evening. Why argue about respecting the rights of others’?
“With that event looming, and national protests raging about racial injustice and police brutality, what was typically a celebration of resilience had transformed into one of defiance. “Black Lives Matter” was painted in bright yellow letters across Greenwood Avenue. Attendees said they were celebrating not only how black ancestors were freed from enslavement, but also the persistence of black Americans today — from a pandemic that has disproportionately affected black communities, police departments that disproportionately kill black people, and a president who has shown little willingness to acknowledge the reality of both.
With the greatest of respect to the writer of the article, this can be taken in so many different ways. This really is no different than any other rant and rave espoused by any number of liberals. This critical thinker is getting so tired of “second verse...same as the first...” What really is foreseen here is gripe, gripe, and more gripping by the same liberals about the same, however exploited, same rubbish with everything that does not work from a tie knot to a blown-out travesty.
Hey, if you are getting ready to celebrate slavery or the end thereto, in a place that was not referring to itself as part of America, say like Texas in the 1870s, then celebrate! But when it comes to rolling over and over again of a 1921 White riot (racism?) would it be the same as say New Orleans during Katrina? Or maybe say Baltimore a few years ago?
As for me and my critical thinking I believe that slavery Ended...Why did a pandemic affect one community over another and that disproportionately? Hey friend, it is my demographical community that is suffering more than all others combined.
So in all sincerity, why the comments about a President who has and who will esteem to greatness again? It appears to me that the other guy –Biden – is trying whether qualified or not to find a woman of color to assist him do what exactly?

C’MON AMERICA, STEP BY STEP, LET’S LEARN TO WALK AGAIN...

C’MON AMERICA, STEP BY STEP, LET’S LEARN TO WALK AGAIN...

Let’s look and evaluate the moronic things that have gone on in our “distinguished media” as fueled by the lying, deceitful, and aberrant matters as they were brought forward by the Barack Obama administration for well over eight years; however, that would take our nation’s explosive ordnance referred to as mushroom clouds.

As one clearly looks and examines the evidence as documented in a slew of best-selling books, including evidence against Hillary Clinton, James B. Comey, Loretta Lynch, and a group of people at the DNC; furthermore, let’s have a look at the intelligence community at the time the dossier’s, media reporting, and especially Mr.’s Clapper, Mueller, and many other prominent (?) intelligence people were directly involved in producing the Dossier against President Donald Trump.

When I was a boy, I loathed the Green Bay Packers! Why? Because they were winners. Although they suck now and as far back as at least one generation ago, they were indeed America’s Team way before the Cowboys were. So, let’s look at this America loves winners.

You name them, I’ll just put a comment or two – maybe.  Why is Meryl Streep added to everyone’s acceptance speech by women? Because she’s a great actor or because she owns three OSCAR’s? Same for Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, Denzel Washington, Sally Fields, as well as ethnic and racial lines. So why doesn’t anyone gripe about racial profiling? Because they are not winning of late
.
Now, just today, I found myself singing “Only in Chicago could that happen.” Of course, I’m talkingwhite men beat him up when the truth already acknowledges that it was two Nigerian black men who allegedly beat him and shouted racial slurs against him. All the while Mr. Smollett not only knew of this lousy screenplay but actually paid the two men to beat him up, splash a little bleach on his neck and wrote him this childlike letter with color, cut letters, and some handwriting to boot! The Chicago Police department already hauled the two Nigerian black men within one day from Nigeria to Chicago and they spilled the beans, even how much their whatever paid, to beat him up.
about the ploy, plot, gamer scheme behind the antics of Jussie Smollett. Heck, it’s okay....why even charge him with 16 counts of lying, saying two

Yep, “Only in Chicago could that happen, the same Chicago that produced Barack Obama. Yet, what is all of this rubbish we hear about America loves winners? So, you’re still rooting for the Patriots? Right! What it is that angers me more than anything written here, although it has been fun – why are the Democrats cutting and hedging the story against Trump? There have been other times in US history when the person who captured the popular vote and lost an election!

Think maybe we should ask the Ruskin's did they fix the vote for Hillary? People, I am trying to paint in very broad strokes why President Trump should be treated fairly. Just compare the campaign pledges.

And, just one more thing: What and why has happened to the sovereign American rights and liberties? What’s with the illegals even being able to file for asylum? These are in all right, title, and interest embarrassing to the USA! Let’s see here, how many of you have forgotten about the plutonium that went missing when Hillary was in Russia? What did she, through her cohorts do to Libya?

We have some real problems in this place we call a country; for some reason women did like the way men treated them vis-a-vie cussing, buying them drinks, or even open a door for them. For some confounded reason, men got blamed for that – liberated women! Where is our MeTooMovement? When heads finally come out of men’s backsides and we start telling our sexual harassment stories to the world – no matter how many years later – maybe I’ll get mine.

Just a Thought

Just a Thought

Lately, I have been given considerable thought to what we refer to in this nation as Religious Rights. Let’s just take up the religious rights as we are told and taught that is quite evident in the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

The reason I chose this source is because of the massive amount of sources that have been used directly, during there time, to make some sense out of what we refer to as religious rights. Using the final draft of the basic ten amendments as penned by President James Madison in 1787, it is doubtful altogether that the language would have come so easily to him. In fact, the majority of these amendments came from phrases that the English people (remember England’s great and vast territories that existed literally around the earth) had gone through the struggles in order to gain these rights.

Therefore, let’s begin with the year of the Magna Carta, 1215, which serves notice to everyone that this was indeed the precedent year and prominence given to that enormous writing surface. This clause should be remembered from all clauses from the Magna Carta,

No freeman shall be taken or imprisoned or be disseized of his freehold, or liberties, or free customs, or be outlawed or exiled, or any otherwise destroyed, nor will we pass upon him, nor condemn him, but by lawful judgment of his peers, or by the law of the land.

What does this segment from the Magna Carta tell us? Although, it uses “...the law of the land...” but who actually can define this? But there was a law; this the charter says very strongly. And law – Mrs. Clinton, and just about every first time Representative from the House means procedures, procedures even a King (at that time) or President must follow – suffice it to say that no one is bigger or better than the law.

In fact, there were no less than 30 more meetings that were used by townspeople for refining these personal and private laws. William Penn, Roger Sherman, the entire state of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maryland as did the Quakers, Catholics, Episcopalians, stepped up to maintain their own religious rights were being protected.

Indeed, the conference committee made only one important change in the amendments in 1788, just prior to their release as part of the Bill of Rights to the U.S. Constitution. That was the weight and absolute interpretations of the first guarantee of the First Amendment, resulting in the absolute clarity and separation between the church and the state.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

As with all civil liberties, these are not absolute. They must be exercised in a manner that does not conflict with the rights of others.

Having stated this, it is overwhelmingly important to verify and clear up a few things. Basically, this amendment is known as the “Freedom of Religion, Speech, Press, Assemble, and Petition” amendment. However, to avoid conflict say that on March 16, 2019, there was a scheduled Immigration Peace Movement planned at the Empire State Building as put forth by the Irish-Americans and exactly at the same time of 1:00 pm on 3-16-2019. This is a conflict waiting to happen.

To be certain, in my days of protesting one needed to have a signed and true Assembly at streets so as to ensure there would not be any fighting.

How a person could take an oath of office with their hand on the Quran is beyond me. As is the wearing the headscarf whilst being either in the House, Senate, White House, or any government agency is pure.

A Definition of Terms...

A Definition of Terms...

This short article attends to the notion of giving assistance to those who already live here in the USA; furthermore, it is intended to explain “why” President Trump has utilized the Act known as the secret national emergency with the possibility of gaining enough money to cover the southern border with a determinant border wall.

The House’s certain vote to block Trump’s national emergency declaration would throw the political hot potato to the Republican-run Senate, where there were already enough GOP defections to edge it to the cusp of passage. Vice President Mike Pence used a private lunch with Republican senators at the Capitol to try keeping them aboard, citing a dangerous crisis at the border, but there were no signs that he’d succeeded.

Time for “word review;” I think it is only proper to examine and to evaluate the three biggest threats to our nation at present. One, constant parlaying across the border without the possibility of being stopped. I have mentioned for the record that there are currently somewhere between 20 million to 40 million illegal immigrants that for lack of concern or finances have patently disregarded any other ways, except they have illegally come into our nation. Just for those who claim they haven’t seen underground tunnels, here are some that have been closed:

All one needs to do is look at the map of the continental USA, moreover, even the precise detail of the individual tunnels or where these tunnels lead too looks too me like every major city in a given state. I did not use any “Sanctuary City” details; however, if anyone even looks at America, they’ll see years of trouble.

Moving on now to America's big pressing threats, that through all the rhetoric I still have yet to hear word one, or anything about these important issues.
We have seen or for some dragged through the MeToo Movement. Well, suffice it to say that the movement started with the outburst of women during the time when Hollywood producers had been mentioned and credibility? Let’s just put it this way – when a woman feels as though she has been wronged in any way, they figure, “Oh the pain of it all...some poor guy is going to get his jollies. Then they wait for 20 to 46 years to figure out how to literally castrate a man.

Let the case of Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh show that this man did not receive his right to due process, he was just placed on trial. That is the kind of person we now have in Washington D.C.
Here in the United States, every news agency has something to say about, 1- Opioid Addiction,  2- Children, hence families that aren’t together, and 3- How we must stop the sex trade that is going on in our nation.

At least President Trump knows what he wants, and I’ll go with him.

If it is that you do not like someone...get over it!

This is the kind of mood I find myself in during the first opening of Education, Immigration, and Pop Culture today. It has become so overwhelmingly noticeable to me since the beginning of the first day of his administration Ah, hell! It has been since he registered his name for the office of the President of the United States. Fitting in with the title, haven't you ever worked for someone you didn't care for at all? Now surely, we've all worked with people that we did not much care about. But what can we do about it?.
Here is a secret between you and me, okay? I thought and felt hourly that Barack H.Obama was the absolute poorest excuse for a "President" I'd ever even heard of. Seriously, for the record, he was an on-time senator, learned his politics at Occidental University in L.A. under the tutelage of his grandparents who were card-carrying members of the Socialist Party of America. I am not going to fiddle my way through his trash, but with the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, and the total of the Chicago mob helping one out well...

This man as President has seen to the economic woes of the nation, put more blacks back to work and the country is also enjoying a huge Hispanic Caucus. Let’s deal with this a moment. There are people parading around the halls of both the Senate as well as the house.

However, if you don’t mind from all perceptions this country is looking and behaving like crap. Just look categorically at what this man has done working as our president. In the manner of Security: When Ukraine went nuts during an overly “general-like” figure from the Soviet Union, or Russia, rather than to bow one’s head and let them runabout, as Barack Obama did, President Trump mobilized about 300,000 soldiers plus put an entire flight deck way up for Intel and surveillance.

When ISIS, you might remember then as The Califate of ISIS, began blowing to bits Iraq, Southern Turkey, where the Kurds live in Northern Iraq and still the deluge of Syria, during his State of the Nation speech he told everyone that our forces had driven them back to no man’s land.

Before I run amuck here do, we all remember when during their retreat ISIS actually moved into Syria – Not just Syria, but where Russia had built a real solid stronghold? I believe it was 51 Hellfire missiles that started to let the world know the USA wasn’t playing anymore.

All this and so much more when the Democrats started playing politics with a much sought-after wall desperately needed on our Southern Border?

What bothers me almost more than anything is that why are we paying Congressional officials? Seems like the only thing they’ve done is to try and reverse the original appropriated funding. This class of new Congressional officials needs to put their heads in the air – look around and get on the winner’s team.

The Crimes Mueller Ignored...

The effort to get rid of Donald Trump is as focused and as intense as it has been since he started running for President. The ongoing silent coup reflects the unhinged hatred for him by the political establishment, all based on one thing, he beat them. He won.

Robert Mueller, the Department of Justice, the FBI, the intelligence community, are working hand-in-hand to destroy Donald Trump. They will not stop. According to Wired, they’ve gained up at least 17 so-called investigations on him. As Bloomberg reports, the left is putting Trump in a “legal vise.”
If they have to destroy his family, his businesses, his lifetime friends and associates, they will. They are pursuing Donald Trump with more fervor and energy than we have seen them pursue terrorists.
Robert Mueller has been tasked to basically find or invent or create any crime he wants. You see, they don’t have to find a crime. They just have to say they did. They don’t have to find an impeachable offense, they just have to say they have.

We believe that the main mission of these anti-Trump investigations is to cover up the malfeasance of Hillary Clinton and the Democrats. Tomorrow, I will be writing about these investigations under the column of “The Sampling of the Real Crimes Mueller ignored.”

Now is that time!

Now is that time!

I get so sick and tired of hearing people complaining, dreadfully, about our poor immigration system. Fact is, there’s nothing poor about it – unless we are able to count those who allegedly are “at work” on it.

Take a moment and think about it. The United States United States Citizenship and Immigration Services this is the big one. Then, of course, we have U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This is the primary agency with over 450,000 workers that the Democrats want to get rid of.

National Immigration Agency similar name but different working arrangements.

Immigration and Naturalization Service individual states, regulated immigration into the United States, and the Immigration Act of 1891 established a Commissioner of Immigration in the Treasury Department. May I add that there isn’t one of the 50 or so agencies that are doing a bit of good.
28 December 2018  UK Border Agency superseded by UK Visas and Immigration, UK Border Force and Immigration Enforcement in April 2013. It was formed as an executive agency on 1 April 2008 by executive order.

And who said Ex-president, Barack Obama, didn’t do a thing to stifle immigration? How about the Deferred Action for Childhood Act? Better known as DACA and let’s not forget free admission for their parents with DAPA.

Immigration Enforcement -- Immigration Enforcement (IE) is a division of the Home Office responsible for enforcing immigration law in the United Kingdom. It was established from a Border Force (section Immigration powers).

UK Visas and Immigration visa system and the other for immigration enforcement. The responsible minister is the Minister of State for Immigration. Sarah Rapson, the Registrar General, does this make any difference?

List of national border guard agencies: This is the list of the Border Guard agencies in different countries. Such agencies may also be known as Border Patrol, Border Police, Border Troops, Frontier
Immigration to the United States works within the U.S. immigration system. With immigration enforcement reaching all levels of enforcement agencies, the Immigration Industrial Complex.

Border and Immigration Agency, Immigration and Nationality Directorate and deportation of immigration offenders. The Immigration and Nationality Directorate was replaced by the Border and Immigration Agency on 1 April 2007, heck, don’t ask me why the people who set this rubbish up makes them feel as though they are working.

I want desperately to say that everyone deserves a chance to visit and come to the U.S. However, I do think that the individuals' prior criminal record has a unique standing in whether or not they are given the chance. Seriously now, if a person has been deported out of the nation once, then they should lose the privilege of ever trying again.

So where do we stand with all this craziness? I do not think it’s fair to have Rep. Nancy Pelosi to
even be granted a vote in the matter. All up --- I believe that this is where there are many non-governmental people needed to take over the situation. WHY?

Because for well over one hundred years these “colleagues” in the house and senate have demonstrated how unworthy they really are.

Why swear to give the administration money, then when it comes at issue, these people are actually looking for a compromise. Don’t compromise with anything EXCEPT for closing up loopholes already in place.

What is Going on?

I cannot, or would I ever attempt to place my opinion, beliefs, or ideologies above anyone else's. Sure, I think that it is okay for anyone, right or wrong, to convey theirs. However, with all due respect to everyone's culture, subsequent beliefs, religiosities, or even their issues that are in direct conflict with my own, I still do not believe that I have a "basic human right" to tell them about my beliefs. I find this to be as unselfish and open as I can be. Thank you.

I feel as though for tonight to explain the meaning of this blog predicated upon its name. Education, Immigration, and Pop Culture; or to assist individuals to understand the basic concepts of how things are continually looked over here in the USA.

  • Education
Education in the United States is in a sad state of affairs. It is about the curriculum development and agreeable discipline for the students. A funny, but a weird thing happened in the 1980s here; somehow the federal, as well as state governments, clung on to the notion that children somehow had the same rights as an adult human in the country. Please don't get me wrong here. If that is the way that they want things why not toss in alcohol and adult activities?

Children have far too much to say, do, live, then trying to compete in an adults world. The schools here are overwhelming with gender rights, sexual harassment, and all else. It is pathetic. More on this topic later.

  • Immigration
I hope this situation here is being truthfully known throughout the world. Let me shore it up for you. The problems are being caused by an inept Congress and a sickening judiciary. Congressional representatives are changing their minds lately simply because of the politics involved. President Trump has been on a roll lately, or better still since he was elected. The economy is far better, workmanship is at the top of the charts in fact, everything that President Trump campaigned on and for has happened in unique ways. But now it is the infamous "Walls" turn and everyone who guaranteed in 2006 by voting for funding including ex-presidents, (Obama) Congressional members such as Sen. Schumer and Rep. Nancy Pelosi and their minions have suddenly gone political and are now voting against President Trump. Much, much further later...

  • Pop Culture
Mostly dealing with the press is the aim for this topic. Yet, it can't go unmentioned that the main populace in the US is not doing well, either. Will keep you informed -- promise.

What is this Sleaze up to now?

When it comes to personal responsibility in this country we must face the simple truth of the matter: it doesn’t exist. We have just a few elements to let our readers know how little you mean to the federal government.
I openly admit that the Freedom of Information Act was that “pie-in-the-sky” legal strategy that so many had worked so hard to get recognized. When you hear the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) that is precisely what it means. The American people are entitled to see, handle, copy, everything that has been classified earlier by some ‘sanction’ of the U.S. Federal Government. Had it not been for the dog-fight and pure hustle by a few we sure as Hades would not know many of the things we do today.
For us to read that in Obama’s new Financial Regulations law passed last week provides the Securities and Exchange Commission with a non-disclosure clause and the fall-out should be humongous. Yes, you’ve read that properly. The SEC who allowed Bernie Madoff of Ponzi scheme fame rip-off 60 billion dollars from investors – who used the FOIA to procure the documents to prove Madoff’s crimes – is no longer subject to having to produce any documents of its own. Obama mused:
"[I]... was saying that one of the cornerstones of the sweeping new legislation was more transparent financial markets. Indeed, in touting the new law, Obama specifically said it would “increase transparency in financial dealings."
This is unconscionable. We have become fully aware that this Barack Obama and his machine do not have America, the citizens of America, the American military, or anything that the Founding Fathers worked so tirelessly to frame this person Barack Obama is doing his level best to tear the United States apart and down. Something oozes out of his mouth and before it can show up in print, he’s already gone against everything he said he would do.
We submit to you a walk down memory lane at The Thinker. In just the titles we ask that you can relate to our rage!
How many of us remember the House Banking Scandal? This is preposterous, it must be delusional. This mess has become so huge we better stop it before its too late. Regulation after regulation with incompetence after more incompetence. Second verse, same as the first or is it just "business as usual"?

Political Correctness in the military, part 2

Earlier this month we presented an article that espoused the notion as to whether "political correctness" may have had a direct result on the travesty at Fort Hood. We quite openly believe that if a person is acting out with their ideological beliefs and is conflicted about what he believes as opposed to what he does, sure – there can be a real problem.
However the point of our previous article as well as this one is to illustrate how gaining "protected status" under the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment – has reached a point where it simply is not assisting those who need protection in this country. (Please see previous articles by clicking here.)
Sixty-three percent (63%) of U.S. voters say political correctness prevented the military from responding to warning signs from Major Nidal Malik Hasan that could have prevented the Fort Hood shootings from taking place.
A new Rasmussen Reports national survey shows that just 16% disagree and do not believe political correctness kept military authorities from possibly stopping the killing of 13 people and the wounding of many others in the November 5 incident. Twenty-one percent (21%) are not sure.

Older Americans are more suspicious of political correctness than voters under 40. Republicans and voters not affiliated with either major political party overwhelmingly believe political correctness held the military back. That view is shared by 49% of Democrats while 23% of those in the president’s party disagree to think political correctness kept the military from responding to warning signs from Hasan.
Seventy-five percent (75%) of Mainstream Americans think political correctness prevented the military from responding before the attacks took place.

New reports say authorities were aware of suspicious behavior and comments by Hasan, a devout Muslim, but no action was taken against him, in part because of concern that there might be an appearance of anti-Islamic bias. Both President Obama and the Army chief of staff urged Americans not to jump to conclusions about the cause of the shootings just after they took place.

Seventy-three percent (73%) of Texas voters say Hasan should receive the death penalty if he is convicted of the massacre at Fort Hood. Military prosecutors have charged Hasan with 13 counts of premeditated murder. If convicted, he is eligible for the death penalty. Quick question: Why do you suppose that voters over the age of 40 are more suspicious of political correctness?

America: What is your government up too?

We heard it live today in an interview with Sen. Orin Hatch (R-UT) the unadulterated statement that we've been waiting for from someone on the Hill. During his interview with Bill Hemmer of FOX News' America's Newsroom, Sen. Hatch constantly referred to initiatives that ostensibly got the health care bill passed in the House of Representatives; however, before even addressing as to whether or not the Senate will debate the issue, Sen. Hatch made mention of those two-biggest lies that he – as well as his colleagues – sincerely hope will not be messed with.
The two issues are health care for illegal aliens and federally funded abortions. While in the process of closing the interview, Mr. Hatch stated: "I hope the American people revolt." And we are at the point of total agreement with Sen. Hatch.

Ladies and gentlemen all one needs to do is look at the language, moreover the lies that are being told everyday albeit from the White House, Department of Justice, Nan Pelosi and 'her health care bill' and the other inside the beltway corrupt-o-crats.

U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops:
In order to get the health care bill passed through Nan Pelosi's House, more than 25 Democrat representatives had to be reassured that federally funded abortion was a big fat NO! For weeks, the Catholic Church has asked its U.S. parishioners to work toward ensuring that tough language restricting federal funding of abortion is included in healthcare overhaul legislation.
But as the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, the church's governing body in America, tries to rally its forces outside Congress, it is also using its leverage within.
It used that influence this month as the House of Representatives prepared to vote on the healthcare legislation. Negotiators for the church worked with lawmakers to add an amendment to ensure that federal insurance subsidies do not wind up funding elective abortion. Doesn't it seem that the "Almighty Clause" found nowhere in the Constitution, 'Separation between church and state' is a convenient colloquialism when one wants to gain from it?
AG Eric Holder up to 'Old tricks'
Do yourselves a remarkable favor and drop by Michelle Malkin's blog immediately! In her lead story she addresses some rather significant conflicts of interests vis-a-vie Team Obama and starring Attorney General Eric Holder and many, many members of the Culture of Corruption. Michelle has actually included an excerpt from her best-selling masterpiece which bears the same name. This is must reading! Get a grip on what is really going on in America's government.

Time to weigh-in on Immigration Reform

We wish beyond measure that we could wait until both congressional houses picked-up the debate on illegal immigration a.k.a. 'immigration reform' but as we all know our current government has yet to enact anything promised during the campaign; therefore, what would you call that?
In other words, however politely we are able to state that we believe that Comprehensive Immigration Reform measures are going to be debated with bipartisan logic and a reform will come about that is pleasing to everyone involved, well we just can't. If the transition phase from Bush to Obama, or Obama's first 100 days in office are any indication of immigration reform – we'd (citizens of the USA) better get to work now.
Mind you it's not like we haven't been doing our fair share. We've run series after series on immigration reform, pondering illegal immigration, and making suggestions that are somehow falling on deaf ears. So it is time to get moving and publish some of the suggestions we've received from our readership as well as various organizations who have had our back, and then again, from those experts before us.
Unite to Reduce Illegal Immigration
"It is the duty of all Americans from Maine to Texas and from Washington to Florida to forget the dissensions of the past and unite in an effort to reduce immigration to the lowest possible point or stop it all together, and compel the foreigners now here either to accept our traditions and ideals or else to return to the land from which they came, by deportation or otherwise." Madison Grant, The Alien in our Midst, 1930.

We are those kinds of individuals that look at past indentures, failures, and other means of totally messing something up for the rest of the law abiding world. Moreover, inasmuch research and studying that has gone into this current dilemma – and being American citizens – we believe we have not only the right but also the obligation to assist to make things acceptable.
We are not sure who the 'elites of Washington' think they're kidding; furthermore, one should come to the understanding that everyone in this country today is going to have to make some concessions in order for the absolute whole to work.
Pork stuffed bills with earmarked untold millions for special interest groups is not the way that this current problem with illegal immigration will ever be solved. Furthermore, no matter what promises were made during a campaign and by whom too ensure a segment of a voting demographic is not the answer any more than 'acceptable paths' to citizenship will work either.
There is in fact one issue that remains constant through this entire scenario; and as ugly as it is, and no amount of political correctness can ever change this notion: illegal immigrants have broken our laws to immigrate to the United States to achieve, prosper, and live a better life. First order of business is the unmitigated solemn oath of full-disclosure of illegals that are currently in the country.
We believe that this would be showing good faith and start a process of getting a true and correct record of the situation as it stands today. Therefore, having made this suggestion we will continue daily unless something of more importance comes up, although we doubt that will happen.

Government Irresponsibility?

I can't speak for you but I feel a sense of edginess over this hastily put together stimulus plan. Do you realize that both the House and the Senate were voting on the legislation for this package before it was even completed? Get this one...it hadn't been fully written yet, today our President will sign this bill into law!

Today I have the need to espouse my own trepidations and why they exist. Moreover, if there is any readers out there who can straighten me out, primarily with a comfortability factor, maybe even some evidence, I thank you in advance and I am indebted to you.

People these days have no problem with "devaluing" the meaning of money. The simple truth of this matter is there are very few people who understand the meaning of the sums of money being thrown around today by politicians and the irresponsible press.

The genius of our numbering system is that we can signify massive quantities in short spaces. One billion takes no longer to write than one million takes. However, conceptualizing one billion dollars is a difficult task without some type of visual representation.

According to the authors at Expand Your Mind this is one of the better concepts I've heard: To count to one thousand, counting one number every second continuously, it would take 17 minutes. Counting to one million at the same rate, it would take 12 days (counting nonstop, day and night). But counting to one billion would take 32 years!

That's right....32 years! Anyone care to try what a trillion would take?

David Schwartz, a children's book author whose How Much Is a Million? tries to wrap young minds around the concept. "A billion seconds is 32 years. And a trillion seconds is 32,000 years. I like to say that I have a pretty good idea what I'll be doing a million seconds from now, no idea what I'll be doing a billion seconds from now, and an excellent idea of what I'll be doing a trillion seconds from now."

According to Time online, our puny human brains aren't particularly up to the task. Go back thousands of years and think about the simpler times of human existence. "We had a few friends; we had to be scared of a few animals. A trillion didn't come up very often," says Temple University mathematician John Allen Paulos, whose book Innumeracy addresses the topic.

As illustrated above, there is an astonishing difference between an "m" and a "b" in front of "illion!" Using the same scale below (where one billion is 6 inches to the right of one million), one trillion would reside on the same line, 500 feet to the right of one billion!

"There is a sense that when numbers are too big or too small, the brain just shuts off," says Colin Camerer, a professor of behavioral economics at the California Institute of Technology. "People either don't think about it at all or there is fear, an exaggerated reaction."

With all due respect to our elected officials and their special interest groups I believe that this number spewing has been presented this way on purpose--knowing in advance--that humans do not decipher huge numbers well.

In other words, how many different ways can we present just how much we want without scaring them to living death? Consider the data presented here and please click on the source references.
